HSW - Kuźnia Stalowa Wola Sp. z o.o. is leading producer of open-die forgings. Wide assortment of goods is manufactured with hydraulic presses of 1000 and 2500 tons forging pressure and with smith forging hammer of 2000, 1500, 1000, 750 mass. This equipment acts simultaneously with a forging manipulator.

We made of produce forgings of made of constructional carbon and alloy steel according to the EN, PN, ASTM, BS and other standards and up to the requirements of TÜV, DNV, BV, UDT, PRS, GL, LRS, CARGO acceptance producers.

Forgings are steam heat treatmed: annealing, normalizing, stress relief annealing, quenching and tempering, solution heat treatment. Surface of goods may be either rough after forging process or rough machining (turning, milling, shaping, bore-holing). Forgings are steam tested: mechanical properties, ultrasonic and other according to conditions specified in order. Forgings are produced with the use of ingots and billets rolled of constructional carbon and alloy steel produced in electric-arc furnaces with extra-furnace treatment among other vacuum degassing of steel.
